We’ve Been Helping Our Twin Cities Patients Look Younger with Wrinkle Treatments for Over 10 Years
If you’re looking for experienced face wrinkle specialists and a seasoned injector, look no further. If you’ve never heard of this facial rejuvenation treatment, it is an FDA-approved product that’s designed to smooth your facial lines and wrinkles that stem from muscular contractions.
This is one of the most highly requested procedures, not only at our clinic in the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas, but it’s also a cosmetic treatment that’s regularly performed throughout the world. It is regularly used to soften the creases between your eyes, crow’s feet, horizontal forehead lines, and more. This is also a procedure used to treat gummy smiles or to lift the corners of your mouth.
During your consultation, you’ll meet with one of our highly-trained injectors to discuss your goals. From there, the actual injections only take a few minutes and have minimal side effects.

How Is The Procedure Performed?
Facial rejuvenating injections are seen as relatively painless and fast. Before your injector begins, he or she will prepare your skin by sanitizing it. Depending on the treatment areas, your injector will then ask you to make different expressions such as smiling or frowning so they can determine where to place each injection. In some cases, a cold compress is used following the injections to help minimize swelling, bruising, or overall discomfort.
What Are the Benefits of this Treatment?
There are many benefits to getting cosmetic injections regularly. Both men and women who want to refresh their appearance will experience the following upsides:
- A significant and noticeable reduction in creases and fine lines in the treatment area
- It is an in-office procedure that only takes about 15 minutes and has minimal side effects
- Patients can opt to get this procedure over a lunch break
- A non-surgical and non-invasive approach to facial rejuvenation that doesn’t require excessive downtime
During your consultation, your injector will determine if you’re a good candidate. If so, you will get a personalized treatment plan tailored to you.
How long does it last and how many treatments will I need?
Wrinkle reduction treatment is not permanent. It can last between three and four months after the treatment. It takes a full 2 weeks to come into full effect. Your muscles are at their most relaxed state at weeks 2-6. At 8-10 weeks, the movement slowly begins to return. By weeks 12-14, you will be due for another treatment.
Consistent treatments every 3-4 months keep you looking fresh and ensure optimal softening of fine lines and wrinkles while preventing the onset of deep folds over time.
How Long Does the Procedure Take?
The procedure itself only takes 30-60 minutes to complete, including the time it takes for your consultation. Most patients experience minimal downtime from the injections. Any swelling at the injection site usually subsides in under an hour although there might be slight bruising that lasts for a couple of days.
How much does it cost in Minneapolis?
We currently charge $15 per unit, however, the number of units required varies depending on the person, the purpose, and the treatment area. At Metropolitan Skin Clinic, our repeat customers who book consistently (within 3-4 months) pay our loyalty pricing of $13.50 per unit.
